NPR Tiny Desk Concert Contest Submission
This project was kind of put together last minute. My friend TJ brought together this group within maybe a week and a half of preparing and coordinating to record this submission for NPR’s Annual Tiny Desk Contest. I was responsible for the production and it went pretty well.
I was told there would be a few other people bringing their cameras, but unfortunately that didn’t happen. I was able to improvise shooting with just my Sony A7IV as the stationary camera and my iPhone I ran around with to capture the insert shots.
My only mistake was that one of the vocalists microphones was a bit hot and I did not catch it until we were mid-recording. I did my best to repair it in post and it was a massive improvement over the original sound, but still not perfect.
