Social Media at Volansi
In addition to sharing industry related content and company press releases, at Volansi we also developed a few weekly posts to keep our name and content visible on a weekly and daily basis. We had several hashtags we posted to on a weekly basis: #TeamTuesday, #WorkdayWednesday, and #FridayFlyday. During my time working on social media at Volansi, the follower count increased 25%. Below are a few examples of each of the content that went with each of the hashtags.
#TeamTuesday
Team Tuesday was used as a way to showcase a new employee each week. The post linked to a blog post built around a quick employee questionnaire, creating graphics, and then sharing the blog via various social platforms.
#WorkdayWednesday
Workday Wednesday was a simple joint post made by communications and recruiting to promote open positions they were looking to fill.
#FridayFlyday
Friday Flyday was a nice end of the week post where we shared short video of the drones in action. The videos varied in quality and source including flight crew filming for log purposes or using their hobbyist drones to capture footage for fun, my own personal shooting on site during flights, and professional aerial videographers hired for multiple projects. I would edit and select the clips used.
